What is Humic Acid Granules?
Humic Acid Granules are a soil conditioner produced through a granulation process using mineral-derived Humic Acid as the raw material. The greatest advantage of Granular Humic Acid for base fertilizer in soil is its slow-release effect. It slowly releases active Humic Acid substances, providing long-lasting benefits for soil maintenance, water and nutrient retention, and root system growth.
Highassay’s Humic Acid Granules
Highassay offers slow-release Humic Acid Granules in various concentration grades, allowing you to select the appropriate grade based on your budget and application requirements.
Comparison Item | 40% Grade | 50% Grade | 60% Grade |
| Core Index | Content (dry basis) ≥ 40% | Content (dry basis) ≥ 50% | Content (dry basis) ≥ 60% |
| Active Ingredient Concentration | Basic level | Medium level | High concentration |
| Impurities / Other Components | Relatively high | Moderate | Lowest, higher purity |
| Application Rate per Unit Area | Relatively high | Medium | Relatively low to achieve the same effect |
| Typical Application Scenarios | General soil improvement, raw material for organic fertilizer production, conventional base fertilizer | Balances efficacy and cost, widely applicable | High-end fertilizer formulations, professional applications seeking optimal effects and high product purity |
Applications of Humic Acid Granules
Our Humic Acid Granules are not soluble in water and are intended for soil application only.
- Base / Broadcast Application: Before sowing or transplanting, broadcast evenly over the soil surface and incorporate into the soil by plowing or tilling.
- Furrow / Hole Application: Open furrows or dig holes, mix thoroughly with soil and fertilizer, then cover with soil.
- Blending with Compound Fertilizer: Apply mechanically via broadcast application to simultaneously improve soil quality and enhance fertilizer efficiency.
- Buried Application for Orchards & Landscaping Trees: In autumn and winter, apply by burying along the drip line (the vertical projection of the tree canopy).
Humic Acid Granular vs. Liquid: Which One Is Right for You?
Both forms deliver high-quality Humic Acid, but they are designed for different application needs. Use this guide to find the right match for your operation.
Comparison Item | Humic Acid Granules | Humic Acid Liquid |
| Water Solubility | Insoluble in water | 100% water-soluble, no precipitation |
| Application Method | Soil application only: broadcasting, furrow application, hole application, basal fertilizer mixing | All-round application: soil fertigation, drip irrigation, root drenching + foliar spray |
| Suitable Scenarios | Pre-planting basal fertilizer, soil improvement, saline-alkali land reclamation, long-term soil conditioning | Topdressing during the entire crop growth stage, rapid stress resistance, seedling promotion and fruit swelling, integrated water and fertilizer management |
| Effect Characteristics | Slow release and long-lasting effect, continuously improves soil structure, nurtures soil and consolidates foundation | Rapid absorption, quickly supplements nutrients, relieves fertilizer damage, enhances fertilizer efficiency |
| Core Advantages | Cost-effective, convenient storage and transportation, long-lasting fertility, improves compacted and saline-alkali soil | Flexible application, fast absorption, obvious yield increase and quality improvement effect, compatible with various irrigation equipment |
| Restricted Application | Not suitable for foliar spray, drip irrigation or fertigation | No special restrictions; compatible with conventional water-soluble fertilizers and pesticides |
