Know More About Liraglutide
Liraglutide is a long-acting GLP-1 analogue with 98% amino acid homology to human GLP-1. It differs from GLP-1 by substituting arginine for lysine at position 34. Unlike GLP-1, which is rapidly degraded by DPP-4, Liraglutide contains a fatty acid that binds to albumin, prolonging its half-life. Liraglutide stimulates insulin secretion in response to rising glucose levels, inhibits glucagon release, and delays gastric emptying due to its receptor activity.
At Highassay, we are dedicated to supplying pharmaceutical companies, pharmacies, and laboratories with high-purity and reliable peptides. Our high-quality raw material is one you can truly count on, and we’re confident it will effectively support your research and production needs.
