Based on the physicochemical properties of the products, we categorize them into two types for date management. The products for which the expiration date management procedure applies, and the products for which the recommended retest date management procedure applies. The second category does not have a fixed expiration date.

For products that implement expiration date (Expiration Date) or recommended retest date (Recommended Retest Date) management, their expiration dates or recommended retest dates are based on the batch number (Batch Number). These can be clarified by reviewing the certificate of analysis corresponding to the batch of the product.

1. Products for which expiration date management is implemented

Products for which expiration date management is implemented have their expiration dates indicated on the product label and the certificate of analysis. This date stipulates the period within which the quality of this batch of products, when kept in the original packaging, unopened, with intact sealing rings, and under the long-term storage conditions stipulated by the company, meets the indicators of the certificate of analysis. We do not recommend that customers continue to use this batch of products after the expiration date has passed.

2. Products for which recommended retest date management is implemented

The recommended retest date is not the expiration date. It refers to the period within which the quality of the product, when kept in the original packaging, unopened, with intact sealing rings, and under the long-term storage conditions stipulated by the company, meets the indicators of the certificate of analysis. The retest period is determined based on our historical records of this product or similar products. The recommended retest date for individual batches can be extended based on the retest results.

If you encounter any issues with your order, Customer Service is available to assist. Inspect packages immediately upon receipt and report any damage or discrepancies promptly. If an item was shipped incorrectly due to our error, we will take swift action to resolve the issue.

Before returning items, contact Customer Service to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) and shipping instructions. An RMA ensures proper handling of returns and expedites resolution. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted, and authorized returns must be shipped within 30 days of RMA issuance.

We aim to accommodate return requests while maintaining product quality and competitive pricing. However, certain items cannot be returned for credit, including diagnostic reagents, refrigerated or frozen products, expired reagents, custom products, special offers, products missing labels or parts, books, software, and equipment removed from original packaging. For items ordered in error, a 20% processing fee may apply, and all returns must be initiated within 90 days of purchase.

For many solid-form products, we often use the term “Powder” to describe them, which covers various solid forms including crystalline, flake, block or bead-like, etc., and not limited to the form of powder alone. For specific information, please refer to the description of appearance indicators in our product.

For many products whose melting points are close to room temperature, “Solid or Liquid” is often used to describe the product form in the product specification sheet. For example, the description in the quality inspection report column is “Solid”, but the product you received is liquid. This does not mean the product is abnormal. Because the result in the quality inspection report is the appearance form at the time of quality inspection of that batch, due to the product’s melting point characteristics, the product may melt during storage and transportation due to environmental temperature, but this process does not affect the product quality, and vice versa.

Regarding the product’s color, we often use “Off-White” to describe the existence of other colors mixed in the (grey) white, resulting in the product’s appearance presenting a non-pure white color, not limited to grey-white only. When you find other colors mixed in the (grey) white after receiving the product, it does not indicate any quality problem with the product. You can use it with confidence.
